Career comeback: what does it take for a successful return to work?

About the event
The Women Returners Research Report, published in November 2016 by PwC in conjunction with Women Returners and 30% Club, found that 550,000 professional women in the UK are on extended career break; 420,000 want to return to work at some point; but that 280,000 could be working below their potential when they return. Critically, increasing female participation in the British labour force could add £170bn to the UK economy and boost GDP by 9% (PwC, 2016).

At this event, hear how UBS are addressing their comeback programme through: Carolanne Minashi (Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion at UBS), understand how returners can best be supported from Geraldine Gallacher (The Executive Coaching Consultancy) and Dominie Moss (Founder of the Return Hub), and get personal experience from Amy Davies (Autonomous Research) who has returned to her career after taking an extended break to raise a family. The event will be chaired by Phanella Mayall Fine, Executive Coach, Author and former Portfolio Manager.

The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session and then networking where you will have a chance to discuss the impact of and opportunities from a career comeback.
