Lothian Pension Fund is seeking to appoint a Portfolio Manager to join its Edinburgh-based internal investment team, which manages 3 pension funds with assets under management of £7bn.  

Applicants should have several years of experience as a senior investment analyst or portfolio manager covering sovereign bonds and may have experience of private/other debt investing.   

The successful candidate will contribute to the internal team’s work, which includes managing in-house portfolios, monitoring externally managed funds and analysing equities, debt and other investment products. 

Essential requirements for the post includes demonstrable experience and success in bond investment, good communication skills, a strong academic record with education to degree level and a relevant post-graduate professional qualification, such as the CFA.
