What you’ll do
We are recruiting for a lecturer specialising in banking and finance (Levels 4-6 or Level 7) to teach across a range of professional, apprenticeship and degree programmes.
Faculty will undertake a variety of duties including, but not restricted to, module leadership, curriculum design, assessment marking, personal tuition, project supervision, managing online cohorts, undertaking scholarship work and teaching (online and/or face to face). Faculty may also be required to support business development/student recruitment activity (for example attending pitches or open evenings).
You will be an expert in your field and able to deliver technical content in an engaging and student-centric manner.
This is a unique opportunity for a practitioner who has either a Level 6 professional qualification or a Level 7 CFA/Charter holder with significant experience in their field looking to inspire the next generation within an innovative environment
The successful candidate will have experience in teaching Face to Face and online and ideally an understanding of the apprenticeship landscape. Ideally they will also have experience in writing engaging learning materials for face to face and online delivery. A teaching qualification or Fellowship of the HEA is desirable – alternatively a commitment to achieving either of these through BPP’s PGCPE (Post Graduate Certificate in Professional Education) or Headway, BPP’s accredited CPD scheme is essential.
You will be highly organised with a proven track record of delivering on time. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to prioritise your own work. Digitally literate, you will have a flexible and responsive approach to your workload and the ability to proactively prioritise accordingly. You will be student centric and enjoy working as a team and collaborating with your peers.
Please note the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
