This role is part of the Aviva Finance Operations (AFO) team: a highly effective and agile team managing resources and providing excellent services to the rest of Aviva’s Finance function. This team, under the leadership of our global process owners, will be responsible for our core Finance operational and reporting processes.
You will deliver high quality, robust capital forecasts and analysis to internal stakeholders. These will guide a range of commercial and strategic decisions across the Group. In addition to delivering regular forecasts you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Group forecasting models and integrating them into the AFO reporting processes. You will also deliver ad-hoc scenario analysis.
We are looking for a qualified actuary or accountant with demonstrable post-qualified experience of the insurance industry ideally in a capital management or capital reporting role. You will have a deep understanding of Solvency II and economic capital and how Group balance sheets are aggregated. You will have a broad understanding of both life and non-life insurance products and markets.
You will be able to communicate technical issues across a range of disciplines and seniority levels. You will have a strong track record of delivering to time and quality.
You will interact with Capital teams across all of Aviva’s markets and locations so an international perspective and/or experience would be beneficial.
