Senior Manager Stress and Scenario Testing (SST) Production

This role is part of the Aviva Finance Operations (AFO) team: a highly effective and agile team managing resources and providing excellent services to the rest of Aviva’s Finance function. This team, under the leadership of our global process owners, will be responsible for our core Finance operational and reporting processes
You will deliver high quality, robust stress and scenario outputs and analysis to internal stakeholders and support scenario design. These will be used in the Group Recovery Plan and support Aviva meeting its requirements under the G-SII regime. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Group SST models. You will support ad-hoc stress and scenario analysis and support Aviva’s response to material external market developments.
We are looking for a qualified actuary or accountant with demonstrable post-qualified experience of the insurance industry ideally in a capital management or capital reporting role. You will have a deep understanding of Solvency II and economic capital balance sheet including the impact of external market movements. You will have a broad understanding of both life and non-life insurance products and markets.
You will be able to communicate technical issues across a range of disciplines and seniority levels. You will have a strong track record of delivering to time and quality.
You will interact with Capital teams across all of Aviva’s markets and locations so an international perspective and/or experience would be beneficial.
